Round 14 Summary.

As always I ended up posting a billion stories at the end. It is getting harder for me to post but I think that I will get more organized next round.
- I have introduced three new families this round. I noticed that I got tired of seeing only my three main families. The new families are Awon, Behal and Roger's .
- My stories need substance! I think I need to really work on making a story or get better reporting at what is going on while I play.
- I added school pics this round. I have decided to play the school by allowing the kids to learn arts and crafts. I see that too many of my adults do not learn these skills. I don't know if this will work but I am willing to try.

Mary Vijayaka- Ch 1 Taking the next step

Ian and I have are in a better place. For now he get Sayra and always manages to keep her longer than planned. I could argue but what would be the purpose of that? My daughter does miss her father but I do not miss his cheating.
I am starting to get to know my neighbors more each day. At first they were a little cold but they have warmed up to me. I guess I needed to pass the trial period. They needed to see if there was anything in my background that would damage this community. I guess these is no threat because I am finally being let "in".
One nieghbor in particular has shown interest in my life. I do not think it's the best time. I really do not want to date anyone at the moment. I have other plans in mind. But I can 't help to see how me being a single mom causes the single guys to start lurking around. If they only knew that I have no interest in being a mistress or quickie for anyone. Least of all having a sexual romance with a neighbor.
He is insistent but I managed to sidestep and without hurting his feelings say no to the date. He is sadden...or at least pretends to be. I on the other hand am glad to finally be free of him in my house.

Aiden Royce- Chapter 2 The interesting one walks away.

I really have to get out of this funk. Right now my life is just getting up, going to work and coming home to start it all over again.
I look forward to the days when Kayla remembers her dad and gives me a call. My daughter is officially a teenager and could care less of her dad. I am happy that she wants to finally come to visit me in Rush Springs.
I have begun to dabble a little bit on the online dating world. Its not as pretty as I thought it would be. I can not believe the amount of people I meet on here that just want sex! I thought people would like to meet and maybe date or worse get to know one another. Its nights like these that I dis waded from using a dating site.
Kayla was waiting for me when I got home from work. She is no longer my little girl. Her mom allows her to wear some make up but I can tell Kayla is taking full advantage.
We began to talk but she knows im still in love with her mother. I stopped asking about Madeline a while ago. I did not want Kayla to grow up with the hopes that we would get back together. It is obvious that at some point Madeline will marry William.
As much as Kayla is a teen she can still get down with her dad. We played a good game of rock, paper, scissors before I had to head out for a planned date. Kayla was surprised but was supportive of me going out.
Her name Sierra Bendett, her game sex appeal or at least that is how I categorize her. She is truly sexiness at its best. I could just feel her peeling my clothes away to see if I would please her after today's date. A little awkward I would say.
We did a little bowling but she did not say much. She was concentrated on getting the best score possible. I am not going to lie. I was not having such a great time and really wanted to call it a night.
Sierra did not hate that I wanted to end the date early. She said I probably could not satisfy her dating needs at this point in time and she would call me. She would call me? I hoped she lost my number from here to her house. I said my goodbye and rushed home to make sure Kayla was good.
So my dating has not gone good. Kayla actually suggested that I change my hair a little bit. I agreed so I went to get my hair styled.
The hairdresser was a foxy thing. She talked to me and I loved feeling her fingers in my hair. We did the usual song and dance and she began cutting away at my hair.
All I saw was a cloud of hair going everywhere. I was fearing that I may be wearing a hat for the next few days.
To my surprise, it turned out great. The hairstylist complimented me and gave me her business card. I did not schedule another appointment yet. For now I just want to see how this hair style changes my success rate in dating.
I had met another girl online and after a couple of calls we decided to meet. I got to downtown Viramontes and waited. I saw a girl that had a maid uniform come straight to me. I thought this was interesting...I am dating a maid. She kept walking and then I saw another young lady who peeked my interest. Her name is Marie Rauscher. She was my date for the evening.
We were both quiet during the beginning of our meal. By the end of the meal we were both conversing freely. I think the hostess was upset that we took too long at our table. The conversation flowed smoothly. Soon it was time for both of us to head home and get ready for work the next day.
Going home I felt great. Finally I met someone that I could have a great conversation with. I knew that I would be seeing more and more of Marie.
Kayla was happy to hear that I finally may have found someone worth my time. She wants to meet her but I don't think its right. Its too soon for Marie to meet Kayla. Besides I don't want Kayla to be subject to meeting women that might not be in my life for long.
Marie and I did see each other quite often. I finally invited her to my house for a nice cooked meal. It seems that we never run out of topics to discuss. She too wants to meet Kayla but were giving it a little time.
When Marie and I were watching TV for some reason my cell rang. I answered it expecting to hear Kayla on the line. It turned out to be Sierra. I could not believe that she would call after not speaking for a long time.
Marie was visibly upset because naturally she knew about Sierra and thought I was dating her still. I tried to explain things but Marie said we were not a couple yet and she understood. The truth is she understood nothing.
She hugged me and told me to take time to date and find the right one. She would give me the space I needed to date Sierra. I did not want to date Sierra..I wanted to date Marie but she was hearing none of it.
She said goodbye to me and as my cellphone rang all I could think about was ,"great Sierra again..why is it the interesting one is walking away?"

Frances Worthington III, Ch 2- New Direction

With the passing of one of my daughters I had to downsize. I looked around and finally found a place I could afford. It did not take long for the landlord to draw up the papers to have me sign. Now I officially lived here.
I met my next door neighbor. I figured that being neighbors and all, it would be nice to know each other. I can say the feeling was not mutual.
Part of being an ex with kids is having knowledge of your former spouse' address. Before I could even call her she knew where I lived. Ariel was a cop therefore she had access to files. I know that she looked for my address before I could even tell her.
Ever since Alexa died we have been closer than before. At one point it almost seemed that we would get back together. For now we both talked and decided to take it off the table. She keeps telling me that her relationship Joshua is stronger than ever. If it is then why is she here justifying her relationship to me?
As always, she got upset that I asked her if she really loved Joshua. She got up told me she was and that the past should be in the past. I guess I should put it in the past. I want to move on and I am giving up on this potential whatever it is. I am now going to focus on my kids and myself.
I got a matchmaker the other day. I know its crazy but I needed to get this need to talk to Ariel out of my system. I want to go out there and find someone to share this life with.
Who knew this matchmakers would be so costly. She agreed to send me a match right away. I guess it will work right? Hopefully it will be a nice girl.
She was not only a nice girl, she was a great one. We clicked right away. I did not expect this to happen. We fell quickly into a relationship.
When she comes over it just seems that everything is brighter. How could one woman make a room brighter with just her walking into it? Apparently she can.
As much as we get along...I hate to admit that she partly reminds me of Ariel. I don't want it to ruin what we are building but sometimes I can't help it.
For now I am going to just keep this going because it feels so good. Besides we are getting along and I need her to be with me.
I should not be happy but I loved Ariel's reaction to me telling her about the girl. She did not believe that I could move on. Her love life with Joshua is wonderful...and now so is my love life.
what is not great is my work life. I was working as a paramedic and got fired. I was late too many times and with taking time with Alexa... oh well. I did not know what else to do other than finally take the plunge and get into medical school.
I looked it up online and thought it was time. I just don't know how I am going to manage the tuition but I have to do it.
It was time to tell Ariel about my plans. I dont know if she will like my child support payments getting smaller. In the long run is something I always wanted. Looks like my life is headed in a new direction.

I finally settled in Viramontes. I really doubted that I would return here after college but here I am. My apartment is not completely furnished. I am saving money to be able to pay the rent. Starting out with my career leaves a lot to wish for.
I managed to get a date via the web with Alexa Thor. She too is a new transplant here in Viramontes. When I first saw her I thought she was sexy, confidante and just the girl I was looking for.
She and I did the ritual of getting to know each other. We asked the questions that all beginners ask. We decided to continue forward and have a quick lunch.
Silence is not always golden. This is the stage that I hate the most. I hate sitting here and hoping that the person next to me is not bored to death. I even fear that she will get a magical phone call that will excuse her from our date.
We saw each other a few more times. It was bound to happen that we would begin to get on each others nerves. It was just not working out between us. The newness of this thing had worn off and we both realized that it was over.
We said our goodbyes. There was nothing that could be salvaged and of course we did not want to become enemies.
And now I sit here in my living room looking out at this world that I dont know whats next. For now I guess it will be to get stable at my job and find my true happiness.
