Jan and I have been getting alone lately. I am still getting used to her having a child for me.  We are trying hard to make sure the line between friend and ex lovers is drawn clearly.

Kendra and I are still dating. We are still working on her being comfortable with Jan living with me.  She says she is good with it but I am not sure.  She came over the other day because she needed to talk. 

I knew it would not be good when she sighed as she sat down.  She started by telling me that she is jealous about me living with Jan.  She feels that Jan and I are connected because of our baby.  I know what she means but I want to make sure my child is taken care of as well.  At the end of our conversation, she told me that she could not continue our relationship anymore. 

I called her and asked her to come back. She told me that there was nothing else that I could do to change her mind.  She left and there was nothing that I could do about it.

A few days passed and Jan knew that something was up.  I didn't feel like talking to her but I also didn't want to keep this bottled up. Before I knew it I was spilling out my guts to my baby's mother. After I was done I felt relieved to get that stuff off my chest.  Jan told me that once the baby came she would move out and things would be better.  I told her that we would take things one day at a time.

Jan's baby bump was growing. It was strange to feel the baby kick for the first time. I actually felt a lot of movement.  It was at this time that Jan told me that we were expecting triplets.  I felt the air suck out of my lungs when she told me that. I mean I was OK with the idea of having one child but three?  No matter how nervous I felt, Jan kept her calm composure and told me that everything would be OK.

I let the shock wear off a little bit.  I hugged Jan. I missed us being friends.  It felt natural to hug her and share this moment together.

It started feeling too much like old times.  Before I knew it we were in bed making out.  That night we had passionate sex.  I was nervous about harming the babies but Jan told me that they would be OK.

By the time that Jan gave birth, we were living as a couple.  I asked her if we should give ourselves a chance.  She told e that she was willing to try.  After all we had three babies that needed our attention and our love. 

Jan decided to take some time off of work to take care of our children. She told me that once they were a little older she would go back to work. I was OK with this because who better to take care of our children than their own mother.

My son Montgomery is such a great son. 

Blair has also won over my heart.  She is going to be daddy's little girl. 

Along with her sister Matriece. 



I feel so complete right now. Jan says that she too feels happy with our life together.  Its funny how life can be. I had been looking for this and it was in front of me all along.

Our life has been going great.  We are settled into our routine and love it.  Alexa wants to go for a promotion and I told her that I would support her.

I love Alexa with all my heart.  The other day we were talking and I asked her what she thought about us trying to have children.  She didn't look too pleased that I was asking her that question.  She finally told me that she was not ready to have kids yet.  I respect her decision. I told her that when the time was right we would know.

For now Alexa is fine with our pet dog. 


I know what it is like to be pressured so I will back off and wait until she is ready.

Aiden Royce- Ch. 5- Does this last forever?

Sierra and I have been pretty peaceful lately.  She misses that Kayla does not come around while she is in college.  I know that she is pregnant and therefore she is hormonal.  I remember this from when Madeline was pregnant.  I try to soothe her and make her feel better.

There are good days and there are bad days.  But when it is a good day everything is fine.  She is all lovey dovey and can't wait to make love.

On the bad days she keeps asking why she is punished by being pregnant forever.  Right when she thought she could not have enough she thankfully went into labor.  She called me at work and I drove so quickly to take her at the hospital.

We welcomed a beautiful baby boy and we named him Eli Aiden Jr.  He was the best looking baby ever. I was so proud. Sierra was beside herself as well.

Sierra now said that everything during the last stage of her pregnancy was well worth it.  She loves being a mom. 

She is dreading going back to work. I told her that she can decide if she wants to go back to work or stay at home with Eli.

Have I mentioned he is the best baby ever?  I love coming home and picking him up to smell the baby .  I put him down because Sierra will kill me if I dont let Eli get a full nights sleep.

Once I slip into bed. Sierra tells me that she loves me and can not wait until Kayla comes home to meet her little brother. I am so happy right now. I told her that I loved her too and snuggled up next to her and delightfully fell asleep.

Aiden Royce- Ch4- Wedded Bliss

My wedding day with Aiden was fabulous. He was as if not more excited than I was. 

We said our wedding vows in front of family and friends. I can honestly say that I am truly happy with my new family.

At the reception a lot of my friends managed to come and wish me well.  It had been a while since I have seen them. 

I should have known that Malcolm would get attracted to Kayla. I was keeping an eye on him because Malcolm can be slick but he means well.

I don't think Kayla fell for his charm because Kayla chuckled and said he was too old for her. I have to give it to my step daughter, she can hold her own.

Before we knew it our limo was here to take us on our brief honeymoon.  We were both anxious to go on a mini vacation.

I had dinner a few weeks after we got back to talk about the wedding and to thank my friends for the gifts.  Malcolm didn't come I guess he was still a little embarrassed about Kayla saying he was too old. We all found it a little funny.

Aiden expressed concern over a lot of the talk being about how pretty Kayla was.  I told him to relax Kayla was in college now. She knew how to deal with people more than he thought she did.

Kayla came to visit us and it was awesome to see how she has changed. Malcolm was also visiting with Amin and I know Malcolm was surprised to see her there.

through out the day it seemed like Amin and Kayla were really liking each other. I mean he is 25 but Kayla can like an older man right?

I even caught her flirting. I know thats something that Aiden would not be to happy about.

We sat down for lunch and Malcolm was complaining about how Amin was too old for Kayla. I told him to relax. I swear these two men and their competitions. I told him to be careful because that was my step daughter and I was not having any of their foolishness.

Amin came to sit down and I gave him a piece of my mind too. I mean I know its fun to flirt but Kayla is only 18 and I don't want this to get too out of hand.

Aiden also had a talk with Kayla about flirting with boys.

She agreed to stop messing with Amin and Malcolm. This was to the relief of Aiden.

With all this flirting going around we finally announced that we were expecting. I know we wanted to wait a little longer but he were are. Everyone was excited and I know I couldnt wait until the baby was born.
Author's note:

• I don't know about Kayla and her flirting. She really liked the townie Amin Bar who I will place his age at 25. I think he is a little too old for him but who knows. They like each other maybe it will go further?  
• I am happy that Sierra and Aiden's ex wife Madeline get along. There is no jealousy or anything. This also could be because Madeline is still in love with her ex boyfriend Webster. Thats another head ache on its own.

I have finally finished renovating my house. I needed to add some landscape and Kayla helped me with some ideas. It needs more work but at least I have more room for my things.

I even added a pool for exercise. This was my daughter's favorite addition to my house.

I managed to patch things up with Sierra. I was scared that we would never be able to be together. I know a good thing when I see one. We went out to dinner but I had to get home soon to meet Kayla at the bus stop.

Kayla came home and loved the upstairs. She says I need to paint but for right now I am happy just having wood flooring. Its great having my daughter here. I miss having her around even though she is now a young lady and likes to spend most of her time in her bedroom.

At least Sierra comes by more often to keep me company. I outright love her and wish that she could move in with me. I have brought it up but we both want to take it slow right now.

The next morning Kayla asked if Sierra had stayed or moved in. I told her no to both questions. Sierra would never stay here unless I was alone. For me it would not be a big deal but for Sierra it is. It is important for her that Kayla respects her and gets to know her. We finished breakfast and I took Kayla back to her mom's.

I got home and invited Sierra over for dinner and a movie.

We had dinner but skipped the movie. It was great waking up with Sierra in my arms. I asked her if it would be OK for her to meet Madeline since we were getting serious. I wanted this woman to be with me forever. She was nervous but agreed to have a family dinner.

Madeline came over and was in awe of my house. She had seen it when it was just one level. She is still saddened by her break up with Webster.

I sat them down and we all discussed our lives. I am glad that Madeline and I can now be friends and raise our daughter together. I can see that Kayla looks at us and thinks that maybe one day we will get back together. I have long lost that idea and I am actually announcing that I am proposing to Sierra.

Madeline was shocked when I said that I was proposing to Sierra. She was happy for me but there was something in her eyes...I could not ask her about it because the door bell rang. I got up to open the door for Sierra.

Sierra sat down and got to know Madeline while I got out of my work clothes. I came back down and they were talking about the house and how to decorate it. I guess things were going good. I did want to propose but I knew that now would not be the best time.

I wanted Madeline and Sierra to meet since hopefully one day Sierra would be Kayla's step mom. I didnt want there to be any surprises for either of them.

Soon it was time for Madeline and Kayla to go home. I asked Madeline what her thoughts were and she said that as far as she could tell Sierra was perfect for me. I was so happy to hear that because now I can propose to Sierra with everything of my past life in its place.

Once they left I told Sierra that I loved her and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. She was so shocked but she managed to say yes. I was so happy that we are engaged. I can't wait to call her my wife and have her live here with me.
