Shaila Barillas- Ch 7 Wedded Bliss~~

Shaila Barillas (31), her finacee Weldon Fairchild (33)
Shaila Barillas ch 7
Narrated by Shaila Barillas
Photobucket
Our wedding is getting close. We are on the last stages of planning our wedding. My family has been over a lot the past few months and I think im over it. We really never lived in the same house but now during dinner this apartment seems small.
Photobucket
Weldon is beginning to complain about the bills that are amounting thanks to this wedding. He now just smiles and takes the payments to the mail.
Photobucket
At the end of our dinner meetings Weldon always smiles at me and tells me how he loves me. I love him so much. I love knowing that he is all in on planning our wedding.
Our wedding day
2001
Photobucket
It's hard to believe that our wedding day is finally here. Weldon kept telling me how beautiful I was every second. I was so nervous walking down the aisle to him.
Photobucket
When I looked I was amazed at how big my family was. Weldon was also amazed at all of them showing up.
Photobucket
We said our vows which we wrote. I promised to love him and cherish him forever.
Photobucket
As he placed the ring on my finger, he told me that I am the only woman that he will ever love.
Photobucket
The biggest expense of our wedding was the reception hall. It was recently built but did it ever get booked. We were lucky to even be able to find a spot for our reception.
Photobucket
I talked to my brother Carson and brother-in-law. Everyone was really having a good time.
Photobucket
Champagne was going around freely. One thing about my family is boy do they love Champagne.
Photobucket
The party started winding down. Weldon and I had another solo dance. Overall we were so tired we just wanted to go home and rest. Before we could do that it was final chance for pictures.
Photobucket
My mom's Maura, Consuelo with Weldon and I.
Photobucket
My brothers, sisters and us. From L to R, Lauren, Audrina, Dylan, Weldon, me, Lizandra, Alfred, Jacqueline and Carson.

We all tried to squeeze in for this shot. I was really tired at this point.

Weldon and I.

Remember how I said that we were ready to go home? My family had other plans...we ended up doing the smustle to the wee hours in the morning. All in all it was a great wedding.

Carson Barillas- Ch. 7 Less work equals more time.

Carson (31) his wife Vanessa (30), their children: Jewel and Julian (6) , Giovanni and Lorenzo (2).
Photobucket
Narrated by : Vanessa
Photobucket
Carson is loving his job as General Practitioner. As much as he loves it he is still getting used to the pace of the job. This is why he comes home late and misses seeing the kids awake. Our marriage is going good. There are times I really miss him and he reminds me why were together by telling me he loves me. The times I get lonely I just look at him and my children.
Photobucket
Another late night for Carson. Sometimes I worry that he will not be able to maintain this work pace for much longer. He said that now he now can work from home on at least two days of the week.
Photobucket
Carson did as he promised, he stayed home while I checked in on my old job as a receptionist at the board of tourism. I do not know if this is going to be our set schedule by for now I am happy to get back to work.
Photobucket
Carson and Lorenzo have been bonding more lately. Carson is determined to get the boys to learn to walk. I love that the hard days are looking like they are behind us.
Photobucket
Giovanni is learning to talk but he always wants his dad to help him rather than I. I guess it will just be me and my little girl rather than me and my boys.
Photobucket
Dinner time is usually filled with chatter about school and the dreaded homework. Even though the kids refer it as the "dreaded homework" they still it because they know grades are important to all of us. I also announced at this time that I was going to begin looking for another job. My job no longer will hold my position and well I want something more.
Photobucket
Carson backs my idea of finding another job but he is worried that the kids are too small still. Soon preschool will start and they will be home only half of the time. I honestly do not think we will have any more kids. For now getting started on my career seems the way to go.
Photobucket
I did finally managed to get an interview at the State of Viramontes laboratory. They want me to start out as a test subject by my sister-in-las's finance Weldon works there and says its great. I just hope that I get the job rather than having to look at someplace else.
Photobucket
I got the call and I was so nervous because I was dreading the familiar, "Thanks but no thanks". I was speechless when they said I actually have the position! I could not help smile with joy.
Photobucket
I told Carson and we both can't wait to tell the kids. I am finally going back to work and I could not be more than excited about it.

Ethan Leopardi 9- Newlyweds

Photobucket
Ethan (33) his wife Noelle (32)
Narrated by Noelle.
Photobucket
Now that we are living together I decided to spruce up our apartment. I really have no idea how Ethan continued to live here with all grey walls. Seriously it was depressing. I wanted to get some color in here. I am not sure if Ethan is actually happy with my change.
Photobucket
After that change I also had to tell him that we were pregnant. He sat there and was actually shocked that we got pregnant so fast. We both knew that it happened during our honey moon. I just hope that I have an easy pregnancy.
Photobucket
Beatrix (ethan's sister) and her husband Chris came by to see the new furniture. Beatrix loved it and wanted to know if I would do their apartment in the future. They have only been living in it for about 2 years so they are not changing anything for now.
Photobucket
Now that I am showing it amazes me how people are always looking at my belly. Its like they do not even see the whole me anymore. All I ever get asked is if I know when im due or if im having a boy or a girl. I do not know these things...what I do know is that I want for us to be parents to a healthy baby.
Photobucket
after I visited the doctor's office I decided to come home and cook a great dinner. After the doctor's news I figured Ethan would take the news on a full stomach. He suspected something was wrong and this is when I announced that I was pregnant with quads. Ethan was now speechless but not that shocked. His brothers and sisters were part of a quad so he knew it was in the family. Now we just needed to decide whether or not we could make this apartment work.
Photobucket
After much thinking we decided to move. We are going to look and buy a house that would suit our babies. I hope we find something soon because these babies are coming pretty quickly.

Suki Dominguez-Bruenig Ch 9- business is all good.

Photobucket
Suki (35), her husband Toby (37), Their kids: Madison (10) twins: Donatella and Annatella (5)
Narrated by Suki.
Photobucket
I think Toby had enough with one of my employees. He fired one of them on the spot and I was a little upset. I am the boss of my business and only I should fire my staff. Toby said that he had told him several times to stay out of our living room and he did not pay attention. He won the argument with that and I could not stay mad that he had fired my stylist.
Photobucket
My salon clientele is really picking up. my sister-in-law Laci came in and well I offered her a job. I think she was a little insulted but hey she needs money right? She politely turned me down and asked if I could clip her ends.
Photobucket
Men have also been coming more and more to our salon. I think this is great because I run this salon for both male and female. I always feel alive when I get access to new clients hair!
Photobucket
I added some more candles and other romantic items to sell. Mostly its bath salts and what not. Maybe one day I will actually buy a building in downtown Viramontes and build a spa. For now I do not have the capital for it.
Photobucket
I talked with Toby about my ideas of opening a spa in the future. He thought it was a great idea and asked if he could use my salon space as a law office. I was hurt because he was looking at my space with such glee. I got over it and started planning on how to get some space for a spa in the near future!

Atani Dominguez Ch 9- 11 years and counting...

Photobucket
Atani (35) her husband Alec Rainer (40) their kids: twins, Hitoshi and Kanji (8) and Jah-Khan (5).
Narrated by Atani and Alec.
Atani~~~~
Photobucket
I come home from work and it warms my heart to see Alec there reading. Some girls at work were talking about how their husbands would not be home or they were cheating on them because of our demanding schedule. Yet I did not feel that bad because when I come home I see this and its beautiful.
Photobucket
We have been married for 11 years. Breakfast at our house is always a busy time. It seems that Alec and I can barely get a word in. The kids have a lot of activities going on. Being boys they love their dad's attention. It gets lonely sometimes because I only get to bond with them when they get a scraped knee or a hang nail.
Photobucket
On my off time of work I still have to maintain my body fit. I am 35 and as I see it, I am lucky to even still be a ballerina. Most say that I have barely five more years before I am "retired". Its hard to think that but in reality I have to think of the next best thing.
Photobucket
During summer the boys love our pool. I swear they are half aqua boys. I take in some rays while they play marco polo. The bad thing is that I get so relaxed and then I feel drops of cold water being splashed on me. I look up and its one boy running away from his brother. These boys are so active.
Alec~~~~~
Photobucket
I have no idea what is going on with Atani lately. I came home and she just wanted to talk about our marriage and if I was happy. After 11 years I am more than ecstatic. I sometimes think that remodeling the house means to her that I am bored or I want to stray. I do not want to stray. I look at my wife and I am still so in love with her. I can not imagine it being any other way.
I think our life gets a little too routine when she is home from work. I think that she needs to be reminded that I still love her...so thus my planning has developed.
Photobucket
I had Atani's twin sister Suki and her husband over for dinner. Atani thought it was just a regular dinner. I sometimes love the way I can plan these things and she has no clue. Suki could barely keep her mouth quiet. Atani had enough and asked her why she kept smiling at her so much. I finally broke down and told everyone that I was taking Atani out for a night on the town. Atani was so shocked.
Photobucket
I could barely get time in the bathroom because she needed to make sure she looked good. She looks good all the time so I am not sure what she was talking about.
Photobucket
We got to the club and Atani let out a scream of joy. She was so into it that she even won a dance contest.
Photobucket
I finally got her to settle down and dance with me. I told her that I loved her and this would be one of many nights on the town. Now that the boys were older they could be left with a babysitter.
Photobucket
The best was when she hugged me and told me that she was so in love with me.
Photobucket
We finished the night and it could not have been more like a movie ending. I dipped her and gave her the biggest romantic kiss ever. We both could not wait to get home.
Photobucket
The next morning we both could barely keep our eyes open at breakfast. The boys had so many questions but our brains were so groggy with sleep to answer. Thank God we were off that day and managed to go back to bed the minute they went to school.
