Vincent and I are so stressed with our family right now.  He actually is stressed because I have been crabby and irritating.  My twin, Africa is having financial problems and I just want to help her by giving her everything that I have.  Vincent does not think its a great idea..but its my sister.

I realize we have to look out for our family but at the same time I feel so helpless.  So he avoids me and hangs with the kids and our dog.

Naremi is also getting me stressed.  We made the decision that she is to go to private school. You would think that I was asking her to die.  She got so mad about the change and started yelling that she wanted to stay in public school. I told her to relax before I grounded her.

She puffed and got on the phone with her cousins and friends saying how I was ruining her life.

Africa has been coming over to have dinner with us. I love having my sister over but I think she is feeling that Vincent is getting tired of this situation.  For me if our food can feed us then why not feed my sister and my nieces and nephews....

I feel worse when I look at my niece Sasha.  She wants to go to college but is torn about staying home and working to help her moms.  I told her to go to college and help out once she graduates.

Kea came over to pick up Sasha and Nicolas. I was so happy to see her. She is a great sister-in-law for taking Sasha and Nicolas in for the last few years. Kea doesn't want to be recognized for helping out. She says they are family and she is right.

I over heard Suki and Naremi talking about private school.  Suki told her that she should be lucky to even have that choice offered to her.  I saw something change in Naremi and I knew that she finally was agreeable to the idea of private school.

Africa and Austin Miguel were talking about her options.  It seems that she will lose that house and will have to find another place to live.  For now she is staying there and hoping the courts will see that she will try to pay back her mortgage and school fees for her kids.  Austin Miguel would love to help but his money is tied up for college funds for his sons.  So for now we just have to sit and wait.

Africa is being represented by our brother-in-law Toby.  We are grateful for him helping but it has put a strain on his relationship with the family.  When we get together we try to talk about other things that are not Africa and her financial situation. It can get hard but we try the best we can.  For now we are just grateful to be together as a family should be.
