Marcos (43), his wife Renee (34)
Marcos children with Linda Shin) David, Eugenio, Pearla and Mateo (16)
Twins, Germelo and Anai (5)
Narrated by Renee
I love when my step children are here but this time things are different. They are all teenagers and they are hungry all the time. Never mind that the boys are now on a health kick with Marcos. They all lock themselves upstairs and workout for hours at a time.
Of course when its done they expect a full meal waiting for them. Lately they have wanted nothing but salad to eat.
I get along with our nanny. I asked her to come aboard so that I can take some time to finish my master's program. I also hired her since I am pregnant and will need the extra help.
Writing a thesis for my Master's program has been very hard for me. I have been overly stressed and that lead to no surprise when I miscarried our child. I felt a cramp so I ran to the bathroom.
I came out to realize that I had miscarried our baby. I know I was less that two months but it still hurts to know that you lost a child. I didn't want anyone to know since I had not announced it to anyone that I was pregnant.
I stayed locked in the study and Marcos finally came to ask what was wrong. He saw me in distress and I told him that I miscarried our baby. He told me everything would be OK.
We didnt tell the kids...there was no need to since they didn't know I was pregnant. Now with their busy lives they didn't notice that I ran upstairs to change.
Marcos told them that I got sick and needed some time to rest. They made dinner and were worried that something else had happened. Either way they would not see me since it was time for them to go live with their mom Linda. I know it pains Marcos to have to send them back to Linda...but he understands that it hurts Linda just as much to send them here.
***************
Just as expected a few months passed by and I was pregnant again. I was still trying to finish my thesis but Marcos told me to take it easy. For now I have placed my studies on hold. I soon passed the three month mark and we decided to announce we were expecting.
My brother-in-law Simon came over with his wife Brandi. They were the first to know that we were expecting.
Simon was happy to know that our family was expanding. I was happy that we were too.
For now we both decided this would be our last baby. This pregnancy has been hard but I will be glad when it all said and done. We are anxious to meet our new addition.
Then it was time to get rushed to the hospital.....where I had my babies. Not one but three...I guess being married to a triplet can lead you to have multiples.
Here is Jordan. He is the first born.
Followed by Brett
And last but not least is Showban. I know they can't wait to meet their older siblings Germelo and Anai.

Asia Domiguez- Guevara- Ch 11
Asia (44) her husband Vincent (47)
Their children: Naremi (adopted by Asia) (16), Paul and Simon (6)
Narrated by Asia
Vincent and I are so stressed with our family right now. He actually is stressed because I have been crabby and irritating. My twin, Africa is having financial problems and I just want to help her by giving her everything that I have. Vincent does not think its a great idea..but its my sister.
I realize we have to look out for our family but at the same time I feel so helpless. So he avoids me and hangs with the kids and our dog.
Naremi is also getting me stressed. We made the decision that she is to go to private school. You would think that I was asking her to die. She got so mad about the change and started yelling that she wanted to stay in public school. I told her to relax before I grounded her.
She puffed and got on the phone with her cousins and friends saying how I was ruining her life.
Africa has been coming over to have dinner with us. I love having my sister over but I think she is feeling that Vincent is getting tired of this situation. For me if our food can feed us then why not feed my sister and my nieces and nephews....
I feel worse when I look at my niece Sasha. She wants to go to college but is torn about staying home and working to help her moms. I told her to go to college and help out once she graduates.
Kea came over to pick up Sasha and Nicolas. I was so happy to see her. She is a great sister-in-law for taking Sasha and Nicolas in for the last few years. Kea doesn't want to be recognized for helping out. She says they are family and she is right.
I over heard Suki and Naremi talking about private school. Suki told her that she should be lucky to even have that choice offered to her. I saw something change in Naremi and I knew that she finally was agreeable to the idea of private school.
Africa and Austin Miguel were talking about her options. It seems that she will lose that house and will have to find another place to live. For now she is staying there and hoping the courts will see that she will try to pay back her mortgage and school fees for her kids. Austin Miguel would love to help but his money is tied up for college funds for his sons. So for now we just have to sit and wait.
Africa is being represented by our brother-in-law Toby. We are grateful for him helping but it has put a strain on his relationship with the family. When we get together we try to talk about other things that are not Africa and her financial situation. It can get hard but we try the best we can. For now we are just grateful to be together as a family should be.

Ian Barillas-Ch 11- The bonus is?
Ian (43) his children currently living at home: Darcy (17) Sayra (daughter with Mary)
Narrated by Ian
The great news is that I got a bonus from work. It finally paid off that I dedicated myself to working late nights. Dylan was happy for the bonus since it meant he would get more new clothes.
I guess Dylan didnt think that I would monitor him doing homework. But just becuase im a single does not mean I would allow him to fall behind. He is my last son that I hope actually goes to college. My other two, August and Julio both opted to not go. Sayra is too young still but I am also grooming her to go to college.
I decided to date again. I guess I am getting older and I am thinking about settling down. I never had a problem meeting women. My problem was getting serious with one...I tend to get bored rather quickly. My brother Simon told me that I should cool it with sex on the first date. I am going to try...lets see.
We went out twice and it was like too intense.
Of course, we ended up in bed together. When we were done its like as if all my interest vanished. She understood.
Dylan is not having great luck either. I still remember when he came out to me he was freaking out. I didnt understand why he freaked since Julius is gay and I had no problem with it. My sisters are gay... regardless he needs dating advice. He went out some guy and it didnt work out. I think Dylan is too sensitive and get involved too quickly.
I tried to give him advice and he was not having it. He said he was going to throw up if I continued talking to him about sex. I wish my parents were just as open with me as I am with my kids. Regardless of sexual orientation..its pretty basic....
I met Danielle Lillard at the gym. She is severall years younger than me. She is 24 and did not think I was 43. I have to admit that it was pretty hot but something didn't click. I mean she was young! But she brought it to me nice and fast. She didn't want commitment, what she did want was experience.
Who was I to deny this to her?
The next day I said goodbye to her and Dylan was looking at me as if i were doing something wrong. The weird thing was that I didnt get disinterested in her. On the contrary I was even more interested in her. We promised to keep in touch.
I took Danielle out to dinner and it was good to see my brother Adam at his job. It was great to have my brother meet my date. Adam of course gave us our food for free but I wouldnt let him do that. Danielle was impressed that I didnt get the food for free.
Conversation flowed until the waitress that I dated many months ago came to serve us. It was not a great sight. We didn't end up quite as nicely...and she was such a rude waitress.
After a few weeks I was surprised to find Danielle calling me to talk. I of course feared the obvious. I was scared that she would tell me she was pregnant.
To my surpise she just wanted to say hi to me and to ask if I would date her. This was a surprise and I said, "I would love to date you". I have a girlfriend and this is a surprise at this stage of my life.
EXTRAS
From a wedding..Ian and his children: Augustus, Julio, Dylan and his baby girl Sayra
I know its an ugly picture...but cut me some slack. These are now the original Barillas clan: Marcos, Consuelo, Brianna, Justin, Ian, Oscar Simon and Amarilis
Narrated by Ian
