One thing I noticed ever since Mary and I split up is how much crap accumalates in this house. I and the boys try to clean up but its a never ending pile!

The stove is a mess to clean up. I really have no idea how Mary kept it so nice and clean around here. I would hire a maid but with all the child support I have to pay I just cant afford a maid.

Julio lost his job and was not happy about it. I told him to come and work for me in the mechanic shop but he just did not want to. It hurts me to see my son down like this. Ever since August got married, Julio just feels lonely. They are twins and have never been separated until now.

I tried to tell Julio to date but he just gives me a blank stare. I love my son but I know that there is no real difference in my eyes dating a man versus a woman. I know my son is gay and I have no problems with it. I just want him to get out there and meet a man...anyone! He is 24 and is more of a home body than I am.

I dragged his butt out and gave him money and told him to socialize and win. I just hope he does not lose it all because Julio is not a great poker player.

I noticed he kept staring at the bartender so I told him to go for it. I don't think it went to well because after their little chat he was anxious to leave. I told him to take me where he would meet someone and to my surprise he told me a cafe. Seriously? OK fine lets go there and meet someone..anyone!!!

Aren't dads just suppose to stay home while their kids go out to mingle? Not mine! He is on my ass to meet someone. Just because he will lay with a woman if she breathes on him he wants me to be the same. I told him that I would meet someone here. I just want a breather!

Before long I saw him following some old woman into a room. We all here saw them both go in. Everyone here knows what that room is for.

I could only imagine what my father was doing. I honestly do not think that I inherited his suaveness to date.

I started to mingle and there were a lot of gay guys there that night. My dad was tired and he said that he wanted to go home. I stayed and talked. People were starting to come in from the clubs and well he told me to mingle right?

One guy really got my attention. He asked me if I was there to meet him and I said no. Apparently he was being stood up. We started talking and he asked me if I wanted a coffee. I said sure why not.

We literally talked all night long. I had not had this great conversation or chemistry in a long time. The last guy that even remotely made feel this way was Guy. His name was Anthony Hiatt and we clicked immediately.

We exchanged information and kissed each other farewell. I think it went good but now the waiting game begins.

I got home and of course they all thought I had slept over some guys house. I was sleepy but that disappeared when I saw my twin August there.

I had not seen August in a long time but he was leaving as I was getting in. Dad asked about last night I told him and he wished me luck. The doorbell rang and I got up to get it.

I noticed a small rose on the floor with my dad's name on it. I knew it was from the lady he was with last night. To my surprise I also saw Anthony about to drop off some roses for me.

He was so embarrassed because he wanted it to be a surprise for me. I thought it was the sweetest thing and asked him out on a date. I told him to let me change and we would go out to eat.

We have been out on several dates. We never seem to get bored of each other. We even went to do Karaoke and we both laughed at each other's singing.


We both agreed that our best dates were when we did not sing. We had been out almost every night and finally one day Anthony mentioned if I would like to be exclusive. There was not hesitation on my part and I said yes.

We did a little toast to our new relationship and were ecstatic to be together.

That night we wound up at my apartment and in my dad's bed. It felt wierd but I knew that my dad was going to stay out late. After we were finished he left and I went to sleep.

The next morning I was so embarrassed when Darcy told me if I could keep it down next time. I could not believe that my little brother heard us! Next time Anthony and I will go to his place. He lives in the outskirts of Viramontes but I rather travel than have Darcy hear us.

Anthony came to see me again and I told him about Darcy hearing us. He was so embarrassed. I told him to come up and meet my brother and dad. He did not know what to do but he came up anyway.

I could hear my dad and Darcy talking. Anthony just held my hand tight when we walked in and I introduced everyone.

Dad seemed to like Anthony. He did not act too goofy around us which I appreciated. James looked like he too enjoyed the lunch my dad had prepared.

Now that he met half of my family we were good. I like Anthony a lot and I am just happy that we met at the right place at the right time. I guess I do owe my dad thanks for forcing me out to socialize that night. If things could not get any better we both decided to move in together. We are going to look into buying a house. A small one but at least it will be ours.

Brianna Chalmers-Barillas-Chapter 10-While one ends another begins.

Thanks to my job as a judge I can do a lot of my work at home now. I have been in this field for so many years that I can predict the outcome of any case before they even plead it. This is why now I request for opening statements emailed to me at home. It saves both me and the city money.

After I do a few hours I head down to get dinner ready for the kids. They sure are growing up fast and I love seeing how they all seem to get along.

The one thing that they don't do is help me clean. It seems that every time I turn around there is a bigger mess waiting to be cleaned up.

The kitchen is the worse. There are sticky fingers everywhere. I have to get the kids to start helping me clean because this is getting ridiculous.

Orlando and I are still seeing each other. We try to get lunch at least three times a week when our schedules permit. Right now he is getting ready to travel so we know its going to be a while before we talk again.

When he is here we spend time together and talk about everything under the sun. There are times when even we have nothing to say so we just eat and enjoy each other's company. I guess this is better that being alone after Neal's death.

Orlando tries to understand my new job routine but he just does not get it. He says this is the reason why he loves being a lawyer for a sports team than a judge. Before long he was due to travel yet again with his team.

Taylor has been getting what seems like a dozen phone calls or more a day. Thank God that I have a cellphone otherwise I would be phoneless. She asked for a cellphone but my answer was no. She is too young and besides she can stand there and talk where I can listen. If she does not like it then she better stick to email.

Taylor insisted that we should go bowling. It was to the point that I was going to just take her and drop her off but decided against it. I thought it would be a great idea for all of us to go and enjoy our time as a family. With all of them getting older, these moments are going to disappear.

I was shocked when Isaiah told me that he saw Orlando. He was supposed to be on a business trip not here in Viramontes bowling alley. Sure enough I turned around and there he was. He looked more shocked than anything that we were there. For a minute I thought that he was on a date and for one split second I found myself happy about it.

He looked embarrassed and ashamed of being "caught" but in the end he was not on a date. He was there to blow off some steam from his recent business trip. I suggested we go and sit down and let the kids do some bowling.

We sat where we could see the kids. Orlando started by explaining why he was there and I told him to stop. I did not need to know why he was there. We were dating. We were not exclusive and honestly if he was there with another woman it was fine.

I asked him if he was happy and he told me that we were OK. I never thought that the past between Orlando and I would make our present dating scenario "OK". It started off blazing hot but now there was not even one spark. We had not slept together because I still love Neil. I know I should give Orlando more time but frankly I felt we were wasting each others time.

Orlando was shy at first but eventually he too told me that he did not feel any sparks for me either. We both laughed and wondered why we had not ended this poor excuse of a "relationship" . We both sighed and decided to cool off and maybe in the future we could go out as pure friends.

He got up to leave and we hugged. Gone again was the boy the only other boy I had been with besides my deceased husband. Our time had passed and when we had the chance we did not take it. Now we would say good bye. At least it was a pleasant good bye rather than a blown out argument.

Taylor asked what happened and I told her the censored version. She is my daughter not my best friend and there are things best kept to myself.

We enjoyed the rest of the night. Even though Taylor tried to act like she did not know me when I began to Karaoke.

After a couple of weeks, I found out why Taylor was so insistent to go bowling. Her friend and who I believe is a love interest Irfan works there. He came over the house I met him and he seemed nice. I thought to myself .... let the dating and headaches begin. Taylor was now 15 and she did not hesitate to remind me that I promised she could start dating at 15.

The dates were here at home but Isaiah made sure that they kept things clean. Poor Taylor hated the fact that Isaiah was around all the time. I myself loved the extra security help/

I know that they had their first kiss.

How do I know? Because Isaiah saw it and literally ran to tell me. I thanked him and Samira and I laughed when Isaiah realized that he had left Taylor and Irfan alone.

That night Samira asked if Irfan and Taylor were now soul mates. I have no idea where she got this from but I told her to ask Taylor herself. Where did this little girl pick up that term?

When we all went to bed I went and talked to Taylor. She rolled her eyes...but I still sat down and we talked. I talked to her about dating, boys and sex. She blushed when I mentioned sex but I did not want my daughter not being informed. At the end of our talk I told her that I was there if she needed me but that I was always watching. She could dislike me all she wanted but one day she would be in my shoes. These are the times when I miss Neal the most.

Whew sorry for the long post. Brianna and Orlando had NO wants for each other. It was like if they were just friends and nothing more. The backstory between Orlando and Brianna is that they did "date" while Brianna and Neal had separated. Brianna and Neal were high school sweethearts that once they got to college decided it was not enough.

Author's note:
As always I ended up posting a billion stories at the end. It is getting harder for me to post but I think that I will get more organized next round.
- I have introduced three new families this round. I noticed that I got tired of seeing only my three main families. The new families are Awon, Behal and Roger's .
- My stories need substance! I think I need to really work on making a story or get better reporting at what is going on while I play.
- I added school pics this round. I have decided to play the school by allowing the kids to learn arts and crafts. I see that too many of my adults do not learn these skills. I don't know if this will work but I am willing to try.
- Overall I think it was a great round. I hope to play Round 15 quicker and post stronger storylines. Let me know your comments.. Thanks for reading!
